Photo published in the "Leeds Guide" & "Absolute Leeds" magazines
Richard (Blue Sky PR) used one of my photos from the CUD gig for some PR in the Leeds Guide.
UPDATE: Richard’s used his fab PR skills to get this also published in Absolute Leeds.

I used to listen to them in my yooff too! and they still played with the same amount of passion as ever.
I guess the reason why we found about it was through Richard as he's still active on the CUD mailing lists so maybe it wasn't hugely publicised outside of there...

CUD!!!!!!!! There are a lot of disappointed folks in the States pining over the Cud we are missing.... But we're happy for those of you that have gotten to witness CUD again.

There was no cost for me... Richard (Blue Sky PR) is a good friend and he got the photo published as a favour. I'd be interested to hear of your interest in gig photography, is it something you do for a living or otherwise? I've had a look through your photos and they are truly amazing!
You should have a chat with Richard sometime, he's a nice chap and would be able to give you some good advise.

Hey Urbanwide, I should really check the comments I have left more often... had about 4 responses to comments I had left - doh!
Well, my interest in gig photography is that I love music and having worked with a band for about a year and having to take photos of them for the press pack I decided photography was for me. I now work with two local leeds music magazines and do a bit of portrait photography to pay the bills! ;)
Hopefully one day i'll get a photo or two in NME, well that is the plan anyway. Glad you like the photos, yeah Richard emailed me a while back so I may have to contact him to see what he can offer.

Cool! I was tempted to go see CUD as I especially used to love the track 'rich and strange' back in my uni days. I didn't get to see them when they played recent though. I must have been busy somewhere else.
